CLASSES OF MEMBERSHIP
 
LIFE MEMBERS:
On the recommendation of the committee in recognition of distinguished and valuable service to the club or to golf in general, a member may be elected a Life Member by the unanimous vote of members at a General Meeting of the club. A Life Member shall have all the rights and privileges of an ordinary member.
 
ORDINARY MEMBERS - MEN AND WOMEN:
An Ordinary Member is a member over the age of 21. An Ordinary Member shall enjoy full playing rights and all benefits and privileges of the club.
 
COMBINED MEMBERS – COUPLES:
Combined membership entitles couples to a discounted subscription. Couples must be living together. Same entitlements as an Ordinary Member.
 
9 HOLE MEMBER:
A 9 Hole Member has the same status as an Ordinary Member but with the entitlement to play only with the front 9, or back 9, on any one visit.
 
MIDWEEK MEMBER:
A Midweek Member is a member who has playing rights Monday-Friday inclusive but not when the course is being used for an official fixture. The applicant must be a full financial member and remain a full financial member of another NZ Golf affiliated club. The player can play anytime Monday to Friday and join in the match of day on Weekday Clubdays but cannot compete for club competitions or trophies (except where invited by the club to opening or closing days, club xmas party, husbands and wives, ladies and mates, parent and child) or represent the club in any capacity.
 
COUNTRY MEMBERSHIP:
The applicant must be a full financial member and remain a full financial member of another NZ Golf affiliated club. The player can play anytime and join in the match of day but cannot compete for club competitions or trophies (except where invited by the club to opening or closing days, club xmas party, husbands and wives, ladies and mates, parent and child) or represent the club in any capacity.
 
SUMMER MEMBER:
A Summer Member is a member who has playing rights only during the period commencing on the 1st day of October to 31st March. The player has a NZ affiliated handicap for the duration of their membership. The player can play anytime and join in the match of day but cannot compete for club competitions or trophies (except where invited by the club to opening or closing days, club xmas party, husbands and wives, ladies and mates, parent and child) or represent the club in any capacity.
 
SCHOOL MEMBER & JUNIOR MEMBERS:
A School Member is a member under the age of 21 who is attending a primary or secondary school. A Junior member is a member under the age of 21 who is no longer at primary or secondary school. Both School and Junior shall have such playing rights and enjoy such benefits and privileges of the club as the committee shall from time to time prescribe.
 
SOCIAL MEMBER:
A Social Member is a member who has no playing rights except with the special sanction of the committee and on payment of green fees. A Social Member may use the Clubhouse.
